The Waste Land T.S Eliot
Working in collaboration with film-maker and actor Charles Sharman-Cox and a group of artists on the project The Waste Land T.S Eliot. Charles is going to perform the poem next year, opening at Metal’s Village Green in Leigh and then hopes to travel with the work.
The basis of the idea is that artists will take inspiration from the poem and produce a body of work, which will then form an exhibition and provide a backdrop for the performance.
This is the first shot made of the Thames Estuary, the river forms a large part of the narrative of the poem. The intention is to create a largescale print and hang it in a derelict building and re-photograph for the final piece.
